I need legal advice on UNREAL ENGINE 4

Hello. I need legal advice on UNREAL ENGINE 4.
My knowledge of English is not enough to fully understand all the nuances described in the agreement. I would like to be explained some of the nuances more easily.
I want to create a small game for mobile platforms. First of all for Android.

  1. Can I later distribute the created product, let’s say through AppStore? WindowsStore? iTunes? Or do you need any additional agreements for this?
  2. I’m just starting to study Unreal Editor 4.16. So far, I have not mastered all its capabilities. And in this regard, I have a pre-infection issue. Is it possible to use, import to the created levels 3D objects created in other 3D editors? eg Cinema 4D? Texture? Or do you need additional agreements for this? Or maybe it requires a different kind of license for the source code of unreal engine 4?
I would be very grateful for the answers to these questions.
  1. You’re able to release on any platform with the EULA. You don’t need an additional agreement.
  2. I’m not sure I understand what you mean. At a high level, if you use Unreal under the EULA, you are certainly welcome to use other editors and tools, but in any event the resulting game/product will be a Product as defined by the EULA, so the royalty obligations will still apply.

There’s only one agreement with Epic Games. You can sell game on any platform, you’re simply obligated to pay 5% of store price if your total income (from all platforms) exceeds some low limit (#3000 or sth, just check it).

There’s no additional legal agreements for 3D software you’re using.
Source code is for free. You just need to create Epic account and connect your Github account to it. That’s it.

They don’t care where you sell the product or what tools your team is using. Just pay your 5% or make a custom deal (available only for bigger studios/products).

Thank you for the clarification.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I wanted to know.
