[FEATURE] More Color Picker Precision

I’d like to suggest a more Photoshop-style slider-based color picker system.
This can give us more precision as well as improve quality and workflow.

If you use Photoshop to interact with the Color Picker tool, you will see a great feedback system.

I’d also like to be able to save color swatch libraries to a package. ie; GEN_Swatches

Hi David,

Thank you for your request. I have created a report and added it to our feedback database. One option you should know about is that you can save your Color Themes within your project’s color picker. This is not exactly what you are asking for, but I felt it may be related and worth mentioning. If there is anything else that you would like to see imporved, please let us know.

Thanks, Alexander. I like the implementation visa-vis Photoshop. It’s also present in CryEngine,

I up-vote this idea as well. I think photoshop could easily be considered an industry standard in many of the ways it does things, so adopting some of it’s mechanics is most likely going to be accepted rather than rejected by the community.

PS: It’s unfortunate that 2 years after this original post, the suggestion has not yet been adopted.
