BP struct resets reference to actor when actor is rebuilt

Version: 4.2.1 (1.4.1-2110405)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a blueprint structure

  2. Create an blueprint from actor

  3. Let the structure have a reference to the actor

  4. Let the actor have a structure member

  5. Instantiate two actors

  6. Set their structures’ references to one another

  7. Add a random member in the actor blueprint

  8. Recompile and see how the references in the structures are “None”

I’ve been able to get to Step 5 but I am not sure what method you are using for the next steps to cause the issue.

Can you elaborate with more detailed steps, pictures, or video the process you are going through

Hi! I’ll try to break down stage six further.
Select one of the actors in the outliner
Find the struct under the default section in details
Press the combobox of the struct
Select the other actor
Repeat with the other actor

I’m without computer for a couple of days, but hopefully this description can help you reproduce it!

Okey, I see now that the format of my last comment was a little hard to read.
