Why doesnt my movement component rotate with camera

Go to your character BP and find Use Controller Rotation Yaw, and make sure it is enabled.

I’ve set up a blend between FP and TP at lot like Skyrim, but I want the character movement component to rotate with the camera without having to press WASD when in FP.

Basically it blends to the correct angle within first person only when I press WASD. Like it does in the TP template already. I’ve checked all the settings within the components and matched it with the FP settings, and there is no difference really except the “Use Controller View Rotation” within the camera settings.

Thanks man! that will even help me with third person as well. I want the player to always be facing away from the camera unless you stand still.
