I am using Unreal Engine 4.2.1 downloaded from the launcher and not modified. Yesterday when I tried to open my project, I was unsuccessful as every time I tried it crashed with the following error message:
`!Id:57b156a88989f91296475cd4b9fd84a1
Unknown exception - code 00000001 (first/second chance not available)
The last time I opened it, I edited some of the settings, such as Maps & Modes, Packaging and General Settings… but I don’t think I made too many changes.
We have not heard from you in quite some time. I am marking this as answered for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing this crash, please comment with the requested information. Thank you!
I can’t remember exactly what settings did I change, but I was able to open the project with the new UE 4.3. And there were a few errors in the output log:
Thank you for your support. I will keep my project for a little bit more if you still want to investigate the exception, otherwise I’ll just create a new project and copy parts of the current one over (as I haven’t actually done a lot of work).
I was able to open the project on my end. Try moving the folder out of your unreal projects folder, then open it from the desktop. See if it opens there.
