Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Import Objects from Blender

Hey!

When I try to import something from Blender (any version and updated fbx exporter) there is a problem with the materials on the object. It's the same material, the right cube is the cube in Unreal itself and the left one was imported from Blender. I guess you can see my problem...

I would guess this is a normals issue. When importing open the dropdown for Normals and maybe try the other options to see if anything looks better. I am not well versed in blender but most software packages have some tricks to getting their normals to be just right.

The dropdown setting "Calculate Normals" is not a great solution as you should hope to get similar results and control in both packages.

I already tried every option available, but nothing seems to change anything...
