Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How do I use audio volume?

I want to have a stereo sound playing only in a certain area. I'm trying to use audio volume for this but there's no option to insert audio on it.

Documentation has nothing about audio volumes.

An alternative to using an audio volume for this particular affect would be use the attenuation setting of a sound cue. You can set these in the sound cue asset details panel. Using this you can set a particular area that you should hear a sound, and even control its fall off. Some good documentation on the subject can be found in the following. The last link does mention audio volumes as a means to further control attenuation and a useful tip that you need to rebuild the level before any changes to the audio volume will take place.
