Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to create a Tsunami?

Hi! I'd like to create a single Tsunami for a game i've been developing. Any ideas? Can we use Unreal Engine to do this? Thanks.

Its possible, It really Depends on the scale and depth of your scene. I would recommend setting up a Mesh piece in the shape of your wave, give it a Dynamic Material with your water and foam then make customs Particle system to add a bit more dynamic depth to it, you can also time the event and have it fire off Particle effects splashing around Buildings and objects as it wave hits it. You should be able to move / animate it in game with ease. You can look into Flex Build of Unreal to see if any of the Advance particle effects could help, I wouldn't recommend Dynamic unless you can Cache and bake out.
