Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

UE4 4.16 LogD3D11RHI:Error / Oculus related?

Unreal crashes nearly every time I end play in any mode but crashes 100% of the time in VR mode. Here are my specs including the log. Thank you in advance for your help.

LoginId:f6bc39434e64cfbb623cd99c3151b191
EpicAccountId:6faf1d6e6b934936917d3555d8d728cf

OS: Windows 10
CPU: i7-6700K
GPU: GeForce GTX Titan X
Nvidia Driver: 382.53
Oculus: 1.15.0.392473

I suspect this might be Oculus related because I unplugged my Oculus and Unreal worked without issue. As soon as I plugged the Oculus back in, I crashed after exiting play. I also created a new VR project (with no content) in 4.15.3 and I still crashed after ending play in VR mode.

As far as I can tell this isn't related to UE-30488 as I believe that issue was resolved. I did come across this bug report. However, that user was running Oculus 1.16. I'm on 1.15, which seemed to work for him.

Note: I asked a similar question recently but after updating some drivers and re-installing software I'm getting different errors so I'm starting a new thread.

Product Version: UE 4.16

My editor has started crashing when exiting PIE mode in the last couple of days. Also running 4.16 using an Oculus - unplugging the Oculus seems to fix the problem.
