How To Importe Fbx Model With Texture

I’ve Made A model In Cinema4D And Here"s The ScreenShoot From C4d

Then Now I’m Trying To Importe The Model To Ue4 , But He Don’t Enter The Textures Automatically , So I Said Maybe The Problem With The Model ! But I Imported Him To UnitY3d And He Worked Fine!

see ? , Help ?

What you seem to have set up is a mesh with a single material. If this is true, and your problem is that the texture is not appearing in UE4, it’s because UE4 doesnt get textures from FBX’s, you need to export the textures seperately and apply them to materials that are applied onto the mesh.
Hope this helps (tell me if this isn’t what you’re asking)

Hi Pedro09,

When you import the FBX into UE4 you’ll get the import options dialogue that will pop up. You’ll want to hit the arrow that shows the advanced options.

In this section you’ll want to select “import textures” and “create materials”

This will auto-generate materials in UE4 based off your materials. You may ultimately want to go back to these and edit them to add more definition to the image by way of using normal maps and adjusting the roughness and metal values of your material to get something more finalized. But this method will get you started.

If you have any questions feel free to ask!
