Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Moving brush makes hidden brushes visible

Hello,

Please let me know if anyone else has encountered this bug.

So as I said in the title, my problem is that I have hidden brushes so I can see the brushes beneath them (it's a 2-storey house).

Now whenever I move a brush on the 1st floor, all the brushes on the 2nd floor (and 1st too) become visible in the editor, but only in the editor - the World Outliner still shows as if they were hidden.

I haven't tried it in other projects yet, but this problem wasn't present in the 4.15 version of this same project for all I know.

Any useful comment is welcome, Thanks

I can confirm having this same issue in 4.18.2. Really annoying when whiteboxing.

When your brush is ready to be used convert it to a static mesh, brushes are not made for actual gameplay

you can even convert multiple brushes into a single static mesh

I know, I wasn't planning to use it in the game, but it's annoying and slowing down my work if I have to hide brushes again and again whenever I move one. But thank you anyway
