ok so ive just installed latest cry engine first time and it says when i goto new c++ thing in red at bottom says
unreal engine you must install visual studio 2015 IVE today just installed visual studio 2017 ?? so uh whattt?
You sure you installed C++ toolchain? It’s what UE4 needs from VS. This component is disabled by default since VS2015 and you need to manually pick it up when instaiing VS. You don’t no need to reinstall whole thing if you missed, VS let you install extra components .
Alternatively you can try verify your Unreal installation or execute UnrealVersionSelector in binaries directory of your engine, this should fix any register and environment settings
well it fixed it installing vs2015… NOT now im getting a new error UHHH im gonna give up
