Anroid build of Unreal game restarts after I leave the App

So I can get my project to work on my phone, no problems there, but if I leave my game and go back to it, it restarts to the splash screen and loads the level again. I’m assuming that there is a way to set up events for when a user leaves the game, but doesn’t close it out, as it would be very annoying to lose all your progress because you had to take a call. I’m still pretty early on into the development of the game, and I haven’t implemented saving and loading yet, so maybe it’s something I would do in there, but I am having a heck of a time finding any info on this issue.
