I tried starting the Epic Launcher today and it had to do an update of 93.2mb. It downloaded, restarted, I got alerted by Glasswire that the version had changed and then I got a second alert saying it had changed again just a second later after the update Initialised. It seems the update won’t install. I’ve uninstalled the launcher, deleted it’s folder and reinstalled it but I keep getting the same issue.
Any help would be great.

I have been getting the same issue ever since i downgraded to the May update for Nvidia/GeForce/GraphicsDriver because Paragon and Gears of War 4 were freezing on the most recent update.
The launcher will startup as normal, then get an 31.2MB to 92.6MB update, then restart and do it again forever. I was able to play the game 3 days ago, then the next day I’ve been getting the issue.
I can confirm that this happens. One of myh machine is currently hanging in an eternal loop where the launcher downloads the same update over and over again. Another machine did the update without problems.
I restarted the machine and this time the launcher came up already patched
Clearly there is some bug in the launcher update
Same happening here. Is there a fix yet?
i have the fix all u have to do is put epic games launcher into applications
The only fix is dragging it into applications folder. I tried and it worked.
