Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Patching includes excess original content?

So I've published a game online already, however I want to update a few features (Change A.I line of vision, add more spawns etc). I have followed youtube videos and have thoroughly browsed this:

https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Engine/Deployment/Patching/

Yet no matter what I do, It seems to generate a pak that's closer to the original file size of game (pak is 3.8gb, yet the changes were extremely small, mostly editing blueprint actors worth roughly 50mb).

If I change advanced settings for DLC to generate patch and build dlc the following error occurs:

ERROR: AutomationTool terminated: Can't use iterative cooking / deploy on dlc or patching or creating a release

Even if I compress everything, it still outputs a pak of 1.6gb, which tells me it's not patching but rather simply building the entire game all over.

Please help, it would be much appreciated
