Patching includes excess original content?

So I’ve published a game online already, however I want to update a few features (Change A.I line of vision, add more spawns etc). I have followed youtube videos and have thoroughly browsed this:

Yet no matter what I do, It seems to generate a pak that’s closer to the original file size of game (pak is 3.8gb, yet the changes were extremely small, mostly editing blueprint actors worth roughly 50mb).

If I change advanced settings for DLC to generate patch and build dlc the following error occurs:

ERROR: AutomationTool terminated: Can’t use iterative cooking / deploy on dlc or patching or creating a release

Even if I compress everything, it still outputs a pak of 1.6gb, which tells me it’s not patching but rather simply building the entire game all over.

try uncheck this under deploy
