Unselectable Meshes floating

We are running 4.14.2 and was about to migrate forward when we came across floating foliage in two tiles of our map. We’ve tried to isolate what these objects are connected to so we can remove it but have yet to find it. After repeated attempts we put off a forward migration and hoped this forum would help to rectify matters. Attached is a screenshot of a tree clearly floating in the air. What isn’t caught by the screenshot is that some plant and grass is also floating in the general area but can only be seen from a specific angle.

Is there a way to check for and clean up corruption or orphan meshes in a tile?
