Material parameters description doesn't show on instance

Hi there, anyone could shed some light on how to get material parameter node description/explanation-text to appear when hovering mouse over material instance parameter?

It was fine when I used UE4.14, the the whole project got updated to 4.16 and all the descriptions turned into this ‘Parameter Value’ text instead of the Japanese texts I put in the node description.

Bump, still an issue in 4.18!

Confirming this is still an issue in 4.18.3 (and is not related to Japanese text, specifically). All my param descriptions show up as “Parameter Value” in a material instance

Even when I’m the one who’s created the parent material, I miss these descriptions a lot…
