Material won't update

Hy Dante01!

Maybe there are too many texture samples being used on an individual component. The rule is to never exceed the maximum set forth by the shader model specifications (16 for SM 3)

As you add layers to a component the samples amount increases.
Your material look very nice and rich, that’s why I suppose you have many samples added.

One trick is to manage well the number of layers in one component, for example when you have a minimum dirt area in a small part of a component you shuld completely remove it.

You can set up your landscape whit smaller components but there are some trade off to keep in mind.
Smaller component allow more detailed landscapes but you have to keep the total number of components low due to the render thread CPU cost.

Hope it helps!

Hey guys, I do have problem with my Main Material. I did created material made of 4 different materials which can be painted one over another. It works totally fine when I place first material over the base-one but problem starts when I try to put second one over or somewhere near that first paint layer it doesn’t refresh materials then and it stays like in the picture below. Thx for help in advance.
