How to start VR project on Mac?

Yes indeed, it’s pasted in a text document attached. Let me know you you need anything additional.

I’m new to Unreal and VR development. I found some youtube videos showing how to start making a project, based on a “Virtual Reality” template/example in the “Project” > “Blueprint” tab. However, it seems to be missing in my fresh install of Unreal 4.16, and I’m wondering if it’s not available for mac, or if there’s something additional I need to install?

I want to get started without having to set up everything from scratch, and if the VR template/example aren’t ready for mac, is there another easy way to get started?

The macOS version I’m currently using is 10.12.5 (Sierra). I want to develop for Google VR for Android.

One of the youtube tutorials I found for windows, where it shows the VR in the menu: Introduction to VR Development using Unreal Engine 4 - YouTube

edit: added Android.

Hello Skinniya.

This video and “VR Template” for “Oculus,HTC” etc. There is not template for Mac because need high performance gpu for this( GTX 970, RX 480 etc).

You can follow this link for Google VR.

Thank you Sertac! Seems to be the direction I should go.

I’ve done all the points up until the “package project” > “Android ETC1”. So far it fails, I get the message “PackagingResults:Error: Error Unknown Error”. Don’t know why. But I’ll try some more.

Can you share full log?
