UVs Somehow Overlapping Despite Using Different Light Map Coordinate Index

Hi guys,

I’m pretty new to the Unreal Engine but am enjoying it a lot thus far. I do have an issue with overlapping UVs on a few models I’ve imported into my scene, however.

As you can see in the attached pics, Cabin_FBX_Floor_Block_5 is one of the pieces with overlapping UVs. I looked this up, and found out that you can create your own UV map in the mesh editor, then use Light Map Coordinate Index to change to the newly generated UV map… but the same overlapping error occurs anyway. I’ve tried re-importing, I’ve tried changing the lightmap size, re-applying, saving, saving all, then building the lighting… Same error.

I can go and manually fix these things in Maya, but I was under the impression I could just use these generated UV maps. See my pics below. You can see the UV map #1 (the new one) displayed on the screen, you can see my generation settings to the right of that, and the 2nd image shows how I’ve changed the LMCI to 1. So… What am I missing?
