Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Non-Player Actors not Appearing in Multiplayer

This is a big time noob question so I apologize in advance.

I'm able to create a multiplayer game, and can see all of my players on the map, but for some reason, when I create a new instanced static mesh for one player, it doesn't appear for the other player. Similarly, non-player actors are not synchronized. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, and as I said I'm new to the multiplayer functionality of Unreal, so any help is highly appreciated.

Hey siditious,

I recommend looking at our Networking documentation before getting started with creating a multiplayer game. There are several pages of information to look over, but the one you're looking for specifically is likely the one linked below:
