How to change the Default lightmap resolution of imported meshes?

I think its not possible. I never heard about any possibility of this. It looks like this is hard-coded value.

Just wondering if it’s possible to change the default lightmap resolution of imported meshes? Right now any time I import a mesh it sets the lightmap resolution to 64. If you hit the Reset arrow, it defaults to 4. Just wondering if there’s a way to set it to a different value so I don’t have to adjust it every time I import a new mesh.
I am aware of the property matrix etc.

Anyone know how to do this or if it’s even possible?

That’s really strange, especially since the default res for meshes is so low. Most people use 256+ now a days.
