Is a complete 360 degree movement possible

an idea i had recently which is heavily based on gundam build fighters is to use the VR controllers location to drive movement of a character.

the theory i have at the moment is that the location of the controllers need to blend between rotation and transformation but im not really sure of it

like a tank has acceleration forwards and backwards on both left and right side, the idea is that the left and right side have acceleration forwards and backwards and up and down.

overall the location of each controller should accelarate the character on the same side in the direction the controller has been moved.

controller movement from 0,0,0:
right controller moves forward = right side of character accelarates forward and so the character rotates around the left side yaw (opposite result if moved backwards)

right controller moves up = right side of character accalerates up and so the character rotates around the left side roll (opposite result if moved down)

right controller moves right = character moves right

left controller moves forward = right side of character accelerates forward and so the character rotates around the right side yaw (opposite result if moved backwards)

left controller moves up = right side of character accelerates up and so the character rotates around the right side roll (opposite result if moved down)

left controller moves left = character moves left

both controllers move up =character moves up (opposite result if moved down)

both controllers move forwards = character moves forward (opposite result if moved backwards)

sorry if the explanation is poor but i cant think of a way to demonstrate it other than maybe a short animation if needed i can make that and put a link to it later on
