Editor crashes after exiting play when playing multiplayer

I am also getting this error when transitioning levels via the BP node “open level”

Any news on this issue? I have a player that is having the same problem. With UE4.16.1
I think is happening when the game tries to open a new level. His set up is:

windows 10
RX480 8GB GPU
i5-4460 3.2Ghz
16GB RAM

Really? Only a reformat could fix this? I feel that there needs to be some other solution… Anyone at epic can help please?

I’m having a pretty critical issue.

My editor is crashing every time I quit the game, after hitting play (either new window, in editor window) - but only when quitting, and only when playing with more than 1 player (locally). This makes testing replication EXTREMELY annoying as the editor crashes and the project must be reloaded (usually with some loss of data) every time I test replication.

This started recently - I did not have this problem until a few days ago is the earliest I noticed it.

The problem is specific to me - I’ve had two other people test the same project and it doesn’t happen for them.

This problem happens EVEN IF I START A NEW PROJECT. I can start a new FPS, third person, or flight project, test with two players, crash on quit every time.

Here is the end of the error log.

I tried everything I could, nothing resolved the issue. I had to reformat my computer. That did fix it.

I did a soft reset using windows 10, so it kept all of my files. Like I said, tried everything I could, this is what it took :/.
