Replication break character's mesh on begin

Hi!

We’ve ran into a broblem, where load of replicated actors on level make character’s meshes behave weird. It appears only if Network Smoothing is Enabled inside Movement component.

Here is a vid demo:

To reproduce:

  • Create empty TPS project
  • Create empty Actor and set it to Replicate
  • Place like 500 of theese on level
  • Set TPS gamemode and remove original char from level
  • Start 2 clients with dedicated server. Do not forget to set “start from camera location” and start above the ground.
  • You will see character floating above.

If you set smoothing move to Disabled inside character move comp, you will see everything become okay.

By the way. This bug seems not to appear in 4.15, so it is only 416 bug.

This definitely seems to be a bug, it looks as though some character movement stuff was changed in 4.16
