Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Particle Color Parameter resets all other vector parms to 0,0,0 when changed

Greetings,

I have a particle object with multiple parameters. I have several that are vectors. One is color (marked as color), but when I change the color value, it resets all the other VECTOR parameters (on the particle actor in the world) to 0,0,0.

It's quite annoying to dial in an initial velocity, acceleration, etc, then have them all reset to zero if you need to change the color.

Hi Vall,

Thank you for the report. I was able to reproduce this behavior so I've created JIRA UE-46672. Our developers will be investigating further but please keep in mind that we plan to roll out a new particle system in the future that may make fixing this irrelevant.
