Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Matinee light/actor only moving to their first key, When Creating a "Movie"

Okei, first of all, I am using Unreal Engine 4.9.2 Because my university requires we use that version for it to be compatible with their tutorials. I have matinee'd my camera, set up a director track and everything. I have also used matinee to move a few doors, and most importantly I've also added a light with it's own movement track that follows the camera around to create a "torch-light" effect to where the camera is looking. When I press "Play" In the matinee window, it play's fine, it moves with the camera, goes to it's keyframes etc. When I "Create a Movie" the light only follows around until it reaches a keyframe, then it stops moving altogether. It does not matter at what time i start the Movie recording/rendering, it plays until it hits a keyframe, then stops and the camera leaves it behind. I don't know how to fix this and I only have about 5 days until the deadline.

Product Version: UE 4.11
