Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Board Game (on paper, not digital) With Unreal Engine Images

After reading the full license terms, I think I know how this works, just wanted to confirm with you.

If I were to use Unreal Engine (with marketplace-purchased assets) to render still images that I capture and then incorporate into a physical board game (ie. Monopoly), which is then mass produced and sold - is that an allowed use of Unreal Engine? Furthermore, are any royalties owed in this case?

I'm thinking this use case would be classified as still images (and would be an allowed use without owed royalties) - since ultimately, that's the only thing the engine is being used for. Am I correct?

1 answer: sort voted first

That's right - that would be still images for which there is no royalty.
