Self Multiplayer Test Freezing

Wasn’t sure how to title this, which is probably why I couldn’t get results while searching for a solution.

I’m testing multiplayer by myself, setting the number of players to 2, and running double PIE windows (as I’ve seen a hundred times in tutorials). But, for some reason, my game freezes constantly. Not a complete lockup or crash, more like long hiccups. Both screens freeze, then go back to normal. This happens over and over. So often it makes testing impossible.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Was this ever resolved? Does it occur for you with 1 player and on a dedicated server?

I have the same issue and figure it’s an issue with our coding somewhere.

Unfortunately, I was never able to solve the issue.
