Interstitial Ads in Blueprints

Why is it that this topic nearly has no documentation whatsoever? I’ve been trying to figure out how to use interstitial ads in blueprints the past couple weeks with no result whatsoever. I’ve tried multiple approaches and can’t seem to figure it out. I did “Load Interstitial Ad” and “Show Interstitial Ad” as well as fill in the ad indexes and ad ids correctly. banner ads seem to be working just fine. I’ve tried this out without result, give it a try →
and I’d really like to avoid any additional plugins.

I have been searching for a Tutorial or Steps on how to Add Interstitial Ads for a couple of weeks now.
It seems that UE4 does not support Interstitial Ads yet, only Ad Banners.
There are plugins on the marketplace, but i’m not sure how much your budget is, I myself will wait until interstitial Ad Support has been implemented or a tutorial is released.

Really painful to add the interstitial ads. Can you get it to work? If it’s work, please share with us, please.

Are you using iOS, or Android? I think at the moment the AdMob Plugin only allows you to show interstitials through Android. The documentation is a bit hard to find though, so I’ll link it here too: Platform | Unreal Engine Documentation
All of the Ad blueprints can be found here, but I do believe the interstitials only works on Android, other than trying to make some from scratch.

I’m following this tutorial. Now It’s work for me. Make sure you have banner ad test successful. For my observation, give some delay time for interstitial ad to load before call it to show. Not every times you call show, the ad is available. Sometimes the ad available is true but it’s don’t have the ad to show after you just show the ad a moment ago.
Not sure where to make it work but you have to try experiment yourself on internal test google play console. :slightly_smiling_face:

There is a free plugin ’ Bansh Ads’ available for integrating various types of ads, including banners, intermediate, and rewarded ads, into Unreal Engine.
