Color Loss When Added to Material Editor

Your sampler type and texture are set to Linear color in your screenshot. I bet it is the reason and you should switch those to sRGB by selecting Color as sampler type, and checking sRGB checkbox in texture settings.

Hey! So when I drop a texture into my material editor, there is a significant amount of color loss. The image becomes very desaturated. At first, I thought it was just post processing, but then I realized that the thumbnail of the textures in the material editor didn’t even match the thumbnails in the content browser.

The textures are 2048 .png

I’m obviously doing something wildly wrong. Any suggestions?
