GoogleVRMotionController missing in 4.16 on Mac OS?

Hey Mac OS users,

I’m hoping I can get someone to take a look at this and let me know what you see.

In 4.16 and 4.17 preview I cannot seem to get the Google VR Motion controller components to show up. (this currently works for me in 4.15, as well as works flawlessly on PC in all versions 4.15- 4.17 preview)

To test it out:
On the Mac OS Build (4.16 or 4.17 preview), Enable the following plugins.

Input Devices > Google VR Motion Controller
Virtual Reality> Google VR

Restart the Editor.

Create a New Blueprint of pawn class.
Open the blueprint and go to the add components drop-down menu.
Search for “Google” in the field or just browse down the components list and you are supposed to see the GoogleVrMotionController component as well as some of the other Google related items that are included.

Should look something like this

Did it work for you? As I mentioned above, I can’t get it to work in anything newer than 4.15 on Mac, In PC builds it works as expected.

Thanks for looking!

I am having the same problem. In PC, this works flawlessly however on my Mac OS I cannot seem to find any option related to Google VR controller even with the plugins enabled. No idea why. I used the 4.16 and 4.17 version of the engine.

Did you manage to fix this?

No I haven’t, its still a big issue.

I was hoping to find someone who could compile a MAC OS version from source and see if the issue was specific to the binary builds or not.

Let me know if you if you find anything out.
