Importing FBX creates crazy amount of meshes

I am importing 188 models into UE4. After the import I am left with about 33,000 meshes. Most meshes are from a previous import that created the same bug, but not to the same extent. The names of the meshes also seem to be that the engine on import it almost combining two different meshes into one for some reason. I have been searching online for a fix, but haven’t found one. Importing as their default OBJ/MTL format didnt work too well for me. I converted them to FBX with Blender, which is now creating this error.

This is definitely not a bug.

Except you could prove meshes are broken to pieces.

Each FBX file could contain thousands on meshes.
