I want to re-spawn my character from a widget that appears after death, however I want the widget to respond to an input key like “R” and not a button you click, for some reason I can only place short cut keys into the characters event graph and not the Widget.If it is not possible how do I then release control of my character (so he is immobile i.e. like he is dead and proceed forward to using the R key to re-spawn him.
I know how to re-spawn characters and destroys actors, what I am unclear about is input mode controls as I wish to disable his input, but allow certain keyboard keys to work. (I seen a video once on youtube but I am failing to find it, the guy who uploads it shows an example of a death widget saying you are dead and press R to Re-spawn).
