Fatal Error on startup

In this case I would recommend you open your epic launcher and verify the install is okay, or uninstall the engine and reinstall it again. does your computer have a decent GPU?

GPU is R9M375X and yeah I am uninstalling th engine and trying to reinstall it again

does it work now? if re-installing was the answer please mark it as solved so others can debug their systems.

Thanks

Yeah uninstalling seems to have done it for now

Uninstalling the engine and making a fresh install of the newest updated version of the engine worked for me.If the same problem occurs for you should verify the engine install first and then install the latest version.

Whenever I hover over any icon, I’m hit with this error and UE4 crashes. If I’m quick enough I am able to do the action by the icon by clicking the icon real fast and then moving my mouse away from it.I tried googling but none of the responses had a proper workaround or a solution(The real time thumbnails didn’t work too).It crashes only when I hover an object though. If I don’t place my mouse anywhere near those objects UE4 works just fine. Also, this happens randomly. The crash occurs 9 out of 10 times. Here’s the entire detail:

Also attached is the crash report log

I am able to interact with the icons if I do it quick as in click the icon quickly and move my mouse away real quick. But the crash occurs after a few minutes even if I keep it still.
