I’m trying to add a new custom animation to the default mannequin, by making modifications to one of the existing sequences and importing that new sequence.
In short, I imported the “Run” animation sequence FBX into Maya, changed the sequence a bit and exported as a new FBX, called “Sprint”.
The issue that I’m facing is that the Start and End frame does not look like it should inside UE4. The FBX has a very exaggerated curved spine and in UE4 it seems to show the original Run pose.
The weird thing, is that the middle frames are correct.
If I import the FBX file, it shows correctly inside Maya, I’m new to UE4 so I have no idea if any external factor is into play.
