Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

UE4Editor-Projectname.dll module missing, could not be compiles, try building manually

I just downloaded Unreal Engine 4 and decided to go from a basic tutorial for coding something in C++ and the first step was to start a blank C++ coding project. Upon creating the blank project I only got an error saying that the UE4Editor-Projectname.dll module missing or was created in a different version and when I tell it to automatically recompile it tells me it can't and I have to compile it manually. I went into my project folder and made sure the project was on 4.16 and told it to generate Visual Studio Project Files and even still opening the project just brings up the error window. How do I fix this?

Product Version: UE 4.16

I am having the same problem and been unable to find a solution. If anyone has a hint for us, that would be wildly appreciated.
