Unreal Engine 4.17 Crashes For Everything And For Nothing

So after instaled unreal engine 4.17 the engine is always crashing, that didn’t hapen on 4.16.3.
It Could crash for any reason, changing the name, compiling, testing, any reason.
I tryed to deal with it by being always saving.
But now the engine craches on launche

this answer forum sucks! ive just ran into the same issue cant even make a new project because of crashing and i keep finding pages like this where its the same problem but zero response :confused:

I agree. I’ve been waiting for a reply from anyone for over a month. I’ve spent countless hours searching through feeds to find a solution to a freezing issue very similar to your crashing issues. Only it freezes my entire computer and I do not get any crash reports that I can note. If you do find a solution, please place an update here so I can try it too.

managed to solve my problem dont know if it will work for you but after reinstalling the engine didnt work i updated windows as many times until windows had no more updates then i was able to get the engine to launch. try updating window that helped me

the last versions fixet the majority of the problems to me

I FOUND THE ISSUE… it’s not me, it’s not my computer it IS NVIDIA GeForce thats required for Unreal Engine Epic Games Fortnite and…It is NOT compatible with windows 10… and it needs to be fixed on THEIR end before we can do anything about it
