Dinamic, stationary and static baking light

Hi guys!
maybe i’ll do noob questions…i’m sorry.
i sometimes use the ADVANCEDlight kit inside the starter content, and i have some question about it.
1- when i set the sun on dynamic, the shadows aren’t baked into lightmap …is it true?
2- instead when i set on stationary ( the sun), the shadows are baked or not into lightmaps of each meshes of the scene?
thanks in advance

moveable lights do not bake light maps. they are much more expensive than baked lights and are of lesser quality. they are full controllable however. stationary and static lights both create baked light maps where appropriate.

Okk thanks perfect!
So I 'd like to know one more thing.
If I use ( for the sun ) the stationary light instead static, what change for a hightreshot, or for a cinematic scene?
If I don’t make a mistake the stationary lights is more precise and it give me a better light quality. Is true?
Do you confirm that the lightmass settings influence the final result even for the stationary light bake?

stationary lights are baked lights but you can control the colour and brightness dynamically. since they’re baked they’re more precise than dynamic (moveable) lights but identical in terms of precision to static lights. if you’re not going to change the sun in game then go with static. if the sun needs to move then use dynamic.
