Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

[Feedback] Matinee Data

When you're in the CB and you use the, "New Asset", dropdown menu to create a new matinee. Matinee data is currently under miscellaneous, but personally it should be placed in the, "basic assets" section. Just my $.02

Thanks for the feedback!

You are correct for the workflow in this case where you want to have a Matinee data that exists in the Content Browser and can be shared between levels. But just in case you did not know, there are other and quicker ways to make a Matinee actor if you only need it for one level.

  • You can search in Classes or in the Placement Browser for "Matinee Actor" and just drag it into the level

  • In the next release of Rocket, you will also just be able to click the Matinee button in the Toolbar, and immediately in the dropdown will be a Add Matinee option that places an actor in your level.

Hopefully this helps a bit.

Cheers!
