I am a map creator Hobbyists, who would love to get involved with the Unreal Tournament community, on creating multiplayer maps. When will there be a free version that hobbyists like myself can create levels without paying a monthly cost. I understand why the price is there for game developers. But at least with the UDK payment plans you didn’t have to pay anything until you decided to publish something. What plans do you have to fix this issue?
buy it once then discontinue your subscription. You wont get updates but you’ll have more than enough to do amazing things.
It is not an issue to “fix.” If you want to contribute to UT development then you can pay once and do so until the end of times, as Christopher suggested. Otherwise you will have to wait until UT is completed with a dedicated editor.
