Change blue guy to other mesh
Hi. Could someone explain to me in plain terms what is it that I am doing wrong?
I open a third person shooter blueprint sample. Within My Character blueprint, in Components I change the mesh to another one (taken from another UE4 sample), Right after that all character becomes rigid. It takes on the mesh but looses all animation when running and jumping.
I tried different animation presets from the list, nothing works. Could you please help?
If you're using a mesh that has a different skeleton than the default Epic Man, you need to create and import animations for that mesh - the two are not directly compatible with each other.
