How can I make my rain more translucent?

Hello!

I’m experimenting with the editor and I’m looking to know how I can make my rain look more like rain basically.

My material blueprint is really basic. This is how it looks: http://i58.tinypic.com/ws64o5.jpg

You can see it looks a lot like white drops falling, too much like snow and it is certainly not realistic. How can I make it more translucent and realistic?

The opacity node is the 5th* on on the UV node (the one that is hollow). Connect that to the opacity. However if the texture does not have opacity in it it will not work.

I added an alpha channel in my targa and connected it. Worked a charm. I also made the droplets smaller. The lighting was also affecting my rain :confused:
