Need a mentor for AI
I have some game concepts that I need help with. I want an online match on a large or medium sized map that supports 200 potential AI. I have questions reguarding AI hierarchy systems, and processing. I haven't created anything yet, I'm simply looking for systems that have worked in the past. I believe I might manage large groups of AI in swarms to lower the processing and then have a commander type AI that controls the swarm goals,(move to this area, defend this objective, attack enemies in this area) . The AI does not have to be super functional, just run/cover/shoot for now.
