Lightning a housing complex?

you could try tweaking the dynamic settings. you could use directional fill lights (theatrical lighting), although there might be issues with the exterior if you have to see both. you could also just bake the lighting.

I was wondering, what is the best way to light a interactive housing complex, where I can walk around the complex, parks and inside houses with openable doors and movable tree leafs? I already tried with dynamic GI but the interiors looks real bad.
