Experiencing a massive slowdown after updating from 4.2 to 4.2.1

Hello,

I recently updated from 4.2 to 4.2.1 and i am experiencing a whole bunch of issues. My ai no longer works and the editor is running at 2 to 3 fps with almost nothing in the scene except for 1 bsp, 3 boxes (not in play mode, it is much worse in play mode). My gpu is taking 230ms to 300ms to render the scene and everything is set to the lowest possible setting. The editor starts of at 45fps and then drops to 2 to 3 fps in a few seconds. I used to get around 100fps before updating to 4.2.1. The only change was this update. I barely have any blueprints in the scene. Any help would be much appreciated.

Slate is taking over a 100ms in gpu time. I am personally not doing anything custom with slate.

I am using the launcher version of the engine.

Another weird thing is the launcher is slowing down my entire system. My entire system starts chugging with the launcher open. If I close it everything is fine. Weird

Still experiencing the same issues after upgrading to 4.3 preview. I am unable to open the GPU profiler in the 4.3 preview build now link text

So tried a new map with a blank scene with nothing in it. I am getting 8fps in 4.2.1 and the same in 4.3 preview. How do I re-install 4.2.0? The option is missing from the launcher.
