Particle light turn on / off

check the particle bounds, and maybe particle LOD’s.
either one of em might be messing up.

I have a serius problem with particle fire from starter content.

When i move from far to it, it goes on and off, also when i m near and move around like here:

Someone know this issue and know how to solve it?

i tried some different seetings:
Lod Methodm Automatic, Direct Set and Active.
Also the “Bounds” to Use Fixed relative Bounding Box (check / uncheck), Occlusion Bounds Method Partivle Bounds, and Custom Bounds.

But no changes at all, do i have to reabuild light after changing these?
Can u send me a “how it have to look like” pic?

And something u have to know is, u can be near, not move and it turn on / off fast. i just have to finde the right position. Maybe this info helps.

Still no one with the same issue? Have try the same on diffrent PCs, also on UE 4.18 and its everywhere!

  1. Start a first person shooter project
  2. Drop a fire from starter content
  3. Make the scene darker, so u can see the effect clearer

Maybe its realy a bug?
