Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples

Build error: unknown cook failure on UE4.17

Hello,

I have issues building my sci-fi scene project for windows 64-bits on UE4.17, and I'm seeking some help. I'm using the ThirdPerson_Blueprint to play my character in an modular environment composed of baked static meshes, animated skeletal meshes, actor blueprints such as dynamic stairs, a terrain and foliage meshes.

I thought an uasset got corrupted or did not compile well, but as I checked all the errors concerning my assets and it still won't build correctly, I 'm blocked.

I'm using Visual Studio 17.3 on Windows 8.1 Previously I had issues while updating the SK_Mannequin with my personal character, the animblueprint showed errors about the VR parmeters.

I hope you can provide me a solution.
