Importing FBX skewing part of my mesh?

When importing a specific mesh into UE4 a part of the left eye doesn’t display properly. You can see in the attached picture that it goes far into the sky. When I view the FBX in 3ds or maya it displays fine.

Any ideas on what is causing this? I’m new to maya and UE4 so I hope it’s a simple oversight on my part.

Hmm, if this is a bound mesh in Maya then try doing a Delete Non-Deformer History and see if that helps at all. It might be a history issue.
